GeoEnergyNI Project
We were invited to be one of the first two schools in Northern Ireland to experience the new GeoEnergy Discovery Centre at Stormont. The children learnt about the rocks under Stormont and even used the VR Headsets to experience what it was like to go down a 250m borehole!
The GeoEnergy NI Project is a unique opportunity for Northern Ireland to showcase a low carbon, renewable energy source that is sustainable and readily available.
Keep an eye out over the half term holidays as the Discovery Centre will be next to the Mo Mowlam Playpark from Saturday 28th October until Wednesday 1 November for selected hours.
SPAR
