Dundonald Primary School 'Together we...Inspire, Believe, Achieve'

School Council

The aim of the DPS School Council is to provide a platform for the pupils to provide their opinions and views about the school and ways they can enhance it.

Each class (P4-P7) has elected one representative who will discuss issues and ideas with their class before they bring these to the full School Council Meeting.

Meetings are held monthly and are ably led by the Chairperson and other committee members. The School Council will meet termly with Mr Byers and discuss their ideas.

At DPS, the staff greatly value the opinions of the pupils and the School Council’s voice is always well respected.

In 2016-17, our School Council have given Mr Byers lots of ideas for new outdoor play equipment, organised an in-school Christmas Disco and have run a DPS Swimming Gala.
